12 - 24 months
In the Ducklings class, we are learning our new routine and focusing on gross motor & fine motor skills. We begin learning the importance of social and emotional skills though sharing, taking turns, and waiting for our turn with our friends.
2's
In our Fox classroom, we are introduced to the world of letters and their sounds, numbers, colors and identifying shapes. Our Foxes begin potty training, working on our personal hygiene skills, and continue our social development. We begin early math skills through sorting colors and patterns.
3's
In our Pandas class we highlight fine motor skills, sensory experiences, and self-help skills. Through a wide range of fun & interesting themes from Continents to Seeds, we are learning about our world using song, hands on experiences and sensory play.
Older 3's/Young 4's
In our Monkeys class, we are all about getting prepared for Pre-K! We perfect our fine motor skills through practicing our writing and how to spell our names. We focus on the emotional development of each child and continue to build self-confidence and independence.
Older 2's/Young 3's
In our Frogs class, we focus on our growing social and emotional skills. Academically, we learn counting and number recognition, shape and color recognition, as well as introducing letters of the alphabet. We introduce more math concepts through color patterns and number sorting skills.
Older 4's/Young 5's
In our Pre-K classes, we learn to write: our first and last name, numbers 1-20, and the entire alphabet. We begin simple addition and subtraction. Our goal is to build up confidence, excitement, and be fully prepared for Kindergarten!

Hello, my name is Mandy Brown and I have had the privilege of working at Rising Stars Preschool since 2011!

I am passionate about working with our teachers and families to create a warm, caring environment where children are excited to play and learn. I feel it's important to spend time in the classrooms getting to know and understand each and every child. As a mother (whose children attended Rising Stars) I can relate to our parents and understand first-hand what they would want and expect from their child’s early education experience.
I look forward to meeting with you and your family and answering any questions or concerns you may have!

Additional Programs
Throughout the school year, some of our amazing teachers may offer optional enrichment classes! The courses are an exciting opportunity to enhance your child's learning with engaging topics such as: Reading Lab, Music & Dance, and Artful Tales: Bringing Books to Life through Art. Class sizes are kept small for personal and individualized attention. Sessions are held after school. Spaces are limited and subject to availability. This program is very popular and tends to fill quickly!
Our school year is from August through June. In July, we offer fun weekly summer camps! Families can opt to join one to all of the four weeks of camp. Each week is a different themed class and is taught by one of our teachers you have come to know and love. Camps are less academic and geared towards Art, Cooking, Science, Creative Experiments, Discovery, Water, and FUN! This allows families the flexibility to attend the entire month or just a few of the weeks. Perfect for travelling families!
